Coming To Terms With Activism Live: The moment I took my own advice on the live stream of my podcast

No, this video is not comparing rape and bigotry.

On the May 17, 2023 episode of Liberal Dan Radio, Talk From The Left, That's Right, I was discussing the paperwork that was filed in the civil lawsuit against Rudy Giuliani over is alleged misconduct, sexual abuse, sexual assault, rape, and workplace harassment. In that filing, Noelle Dunphy was talking about the sexual misconduct of Mr. Giuliani and then continued to say:

"In addition to his sexual demands, Giuliani went on alcohol-drenched rants that included sexist, racist, and antisemitic remarks, which made the work environment unbearable."

At first I was shocked. I couldn't imagine that those kinds of comments (put into detail later in the document) would make work unbearable as compared to his alleged sexual (i.e. rapey demands). But if you watch the first video in the series of Coming to Terms With Activism:

you will see that I give advice on how to deal with things that you hear/read that don't sound right in your gut. So live, during the podcast, I follow my own advice and you can see my thought process as I go from not understanding why she would make the argument in this filing to perhaps understanding why she does.

Now, this particular video doesn't deal with any specific terms. However, it shows an example of how you can take the time to put yourself in someone else's shoes to get a better understanding of what they are saying and why they are saying it.
