0:49Now PlayingIn government, Liberal Democrats have delivered 15 hours a week free childcare for all 3 and 4 year olds and 40 per cent of 2 year olds.
Our manifesto plans now propose to extend this further to include:
• Providing 15 hours a week of free childcare to all children of working parents aged between 9 months and 2 years.
• Providing 15 hours a week of free childcare to all two year olds saving the average family £2,450 over a year.
• Increasing the provision of free childcare to 20 hours a week for all 2,3 and 4 year olds and for children of working parents aged between 9 months and 2 years.
• Increasing the Early Years Pupil Premium from £300 to £1,000 per child.
