Dismantling diversity programs that made America’s diplomats reflect the nation they serve.
Replacing career experts with loyalists and draining the State Department of its best talent.
Looking the other way with dictators, cozying up to strongmen he once condemned.
Meeks contrasted “Senator Rubio, the principled statesman” with “Secretary Rubio, the betrayer of his own ideals” — and he accused him of presiding over nothing more than a “kingdom of ash.”
This wasn’t just a political exchange. It was a public exposure of hypocrisy and betrayal in broad daylight. Rubio, once seen as a defender of democracy, is now accused of dismantling it for the sake of power.
