0:39Now PlayingShayne has already been working hard for our local community. As a councillor for the City of Sydney he has been an advocate for protecting local heritage, for improved planning and development and for ensuring that we protect our open space for future generations.
Living in the local area all his adult life Shayne continues to own and operate his own small business in the local area. He understands the pressures that are faced by small business on a daily basis.
Shayne understands the challenges faced by our city and in particular the need for improved road and transport infrastructure. He will continue to work to reduce the impact of traffic changes caused by both the Eastern Distributor and more recently the Cross City Tunnel. He is an advocate for better transport planning to reduce congestion on our local roads.
The prevention of violent crime and anti-social behaviour are also important to Shayne ensuring that we make our streets safer for families.
