Atheists targeted like criminals in Malaysia

In Malaysia, the majority ethnic which is Malay is considered Muslim by birth. And the government still considers them Muslim even after they leave Islam.

Male reporter: The government will investigate the existence of Atheist Republic Club Kuala Lumpur that includes members who are Muslims, which has become viral in social media recently.

Female reporter: Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department of Malaysia, Dato' Dr. Asyraf Wajdi has said that the issue is very worrying since it involves attempts to brainwash Muslims, which can destabilize the country.
