1. A 22-year old woman, Pindi Anuradha of Kalamadugu village, was allegedly beaten to death by her parents and relatives for marrying her lover Ayyoru Lakshirajam alias Lakshman against their wishes.They had eloped earlier this month and got married. They came back three weeks after and approached the local police station seeking protection. The police escorted them and left them with the man's parents. Knowing the couple's arrival, the woman's parents together with other relatives, went to Lakshman's house and assaulted him. They took her out of the house and beat her on the streets until she died.

2. Dennis Prager, a conservative radio host said that saying "Merry Christmas" over "Happy Holidays" is a form of patriotism. He added that even though it is not his personal holiday, it is still a national holiday.

3. Islamic seminary Darul Uloom in Deoband has asked Muslims to avoid men and women dining together at social or other events saying that it is "un-islamic". It is not proper for Muslim men and women to dine together. The 'fatwa' (religious decree) also said that dining while standing is "un-Islamic" too.

4. Kevin Shrum, a Tennessee pastor at Inglewood Baptist Church in Nashville said that everyone including atheists need Jesus on Christmas. He wrote a holiday op-ed for the Tennessean arguing that "we are all imperfect sinners in need of saving grace from Jesus Christ."

5. Anthony Furey, a Toronto Sun op-ed editor received an email said to be from Twitter's legal team telling him he may have broken Pakistani laws. He was startled to learn he stood accused of insulting the Prophet Mohammad, a crime punishable by death in the Islamic Republic. Twitter confirmed the correspondence was true. Fure's offense was to post cartoons of the prophet several years ago.

6. The terror group behind the September 11 attacks, Al-Qaeda, are reportedly hatching new plans to "blow up passenger jets". They are planning to use drones packed with explosives to bomb targets as they spread tentacles of terror across the Middle East.

7. Rev. Thomas Faucher, a Boise, Idaho priest was sentenced to 25 years in prison without the possibility of parole. He was accused of amassing thousands of child porn images and videos on his home computer. He pleaded guilty in September. The detective said that Faucher was actively seeking interests with gay men, satanic interests, and the rape and killing of minors. He found more than 2,500 files that were sexually exploitative with young-looking subjects.

8. A war monitor said that Turkey is massing troops near a town in Northern Syria held by a U.S.-backed and Kurdish-led force. The Turkish buildup comes even though Turkey said it would delay a promised offensive in eastern Syria in the wake of President Trump's decision to withdraw U.S. troops. French President Emmanuel Macron said he "deeply regrets" Trump's decision to pull U.S. troops out of Syria and warned it could have dangerous consequences.

9. The Satanic Temple has been allowed to enter the lawsuit challenging the 10 Commandments monument at the state Capitol on the ground that refusal of its request to install a Baphomet monument was a violation of their constitutional equal protection right. The 10 Commandment monument now in place is the second version paid by private contributions to an organization headed by Rapert for which he has yet to disclose financial particulars.

10. In a California park, a sign declaring "Religion is but myth & superstition" is being displayed amongst Christmas decorations and a nativity scene in order to start a debate on freedom of religion and freedom from religion, according to the organization that placed it there. The whole message was “There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven or hell. There is only our natural world.” The banner signed by the Freedom From Religion Foundation continues: “Religion is but myth & superstition that hardens hearts & enslaves minds.”
