Armin dissects Dr. Shabir Ally's apologism for slavery in the Quran. He also examines some of the scripture from which Islamic slavery is derived. Armin mentions that Muhammad himself had salves. Even if Muhammad couldn't stop it, why not at least not have slaves himself? Is that too much to ask for someone who is supposed to be the guide for all time? Also, why not abolish slavery when he abolished idol worship, which their entire economy was dependant on? Armin also calls out attempts to redefine slavery to suggest that slavery during Muhammad's time was voluntary and similar to forms of employment today. This is insane given that the Quran and Hadith clearly mention Muslims capturing slaves in their battles and that Muhammad raped his slaves. Armin wonders why the woke mob are not going after Islam for this. When statues of yesterday's slave owners are being toppled, today's legitimatization of slavery is being tolerated.
