He also announced changes to oversight and complaint systems, promised to expand munitions, AI, and industrial capacity, and vowed to purge leaders tied to what he called the “woke era.” This livestream covers the entire speech from start to finish, breaking down the content, the directives, the language, and the implications of what Hegseth is calling the rebirth of the War Department.
