Government Involvement vs Affordability in America

If you want stuff to be affordable, stop letting the government play central planner. Get them out, let real competition happen, and watch prices drop. Then, if some people still cannot afford the basics, fine, you can have a narrow, targeted safety net. But the current model of smothering entire sectors with the government and then crying about prices is absurd.
