YouTube Description
as posted by the channelEveryone’s saying we’re sliding into authoritarianism. But … aren’t we there already? In a word, yes. And we need to start calling it exactly what it is, without waiting on elected officials to lead.
Joe Trippi and Alex Shashlo are back to answer your burning questions and concerns as the week wraps up.
Some members of the Lincoln Loyal community have been fighting the good fight since 2016. But they’re concerned that it feels like folks aren’t showing up like they did in 2017, even though the stakes are much, much higher. Joe says that now isn’t the time to turn away allies, regardless if you completely agree with them or not, whether it’s Liz Cheney or Bernie Sanders. When it comes to taking on authoritarianism, we’re all in this together.
And as for the elephant in the room … Joe’s red hat. Well, he says it’s time we get past black-and-white framing and engage with folks as people … not political opponents we can just dismiss.
