The US House of Representatives is set to initiate a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, as announced by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, the highest-ranking Republican in the House.
McCarthy stated that the inquiry will focus on "allegations of abuse of power, obstruction, and corruption" by President Biden. This move comes after months of Republican investigations into the Biden administration since they took control of the House in January.
