Chaos in Minneapolis: Gunman Targets Praying Children, Then Himself

The horrifying attack at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis is one of those stories that forces America to stare into the abyss. Two innocent children lost their lives and 17 others were injured while simply attending Mass, a sacred space that should have been safe. The gunman, 23-year-old Robin Westman, opened fire from outside, spraying bullets through stained-glass windows, and then turned the gun on himself. This wasn’t a street corner drug deal gone bad, nor was it the kind of criminal violence you expect in cities plagued by gangs. Why are young men like Westman, armed to the teeth and steeped in online obsession, finding purpose in mass carnage? Why is it always the innocent, the defenseless, who pay the price?

The mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, lashed out against empty condolences, but his city has been rotting for years under leftist governance that has gutted law enforcement, demonized police, and turned crime into a political game. This tragedy isn’t about guns alone; it’s about a culture that has no moral center, no reverence for life, and no will to protect its children. Unless that changes, we will see more chalk outlines.
