The Republican Party has lost its edge. It reacts instead of acts, points fingers instead of fighting back, and clutches pearls instead of drawing blood. That must end. Cuomo’s showing proved there was no real mandate for Mamdani. The so-called “progressive revolution” is a mirage. Cuomo came closer than anyone expected, but the GOP had no strategy, no bench, no plan.

The right keeps devouring its own while the left closes ranks. Tucker, Fuentes, whoever — conservatives waste fire on each other instead of the enemy. That’s how we lose. Millions in New York feel no fear of socialism because we failed to define what’s at stake. The media push fear because it sells. The right must learn to sell strength, not surrender.

We are the country of Patton, Eisenhower, and Grant, not timid handwringers. It’s time to recruit, to inspire, to remember who we are. Politics isn’t about sermons or purity — it’s about numbers, persuasion, and power. Stop assuming voters “should know better.” They don’t. Teach them. Win them.

Trump remains singular. His energy and connection can’t be cloned, only studied. The GOP must build a movement that captures his drive but expands his reach. And yes, remember — Curtis Sliwa didn’t betray the right; the right betrayed itself.
