What began as a miracle narrative quickly became a web of conflicting accounts.In September 2025, Andrew Kolvet tweeted that surgeon Dr. Lee Trotter described Charlie Kirk’s neck as so dense it stopped a highvelocity round just beneath the skin, calling him the man of steel. Days later, journalist Stephen Gardner reported a very different version from TPUSA insidersthe bullet crushed Kirk’s C2 vertebra and traveled down, destroying vertebrae C2 through C7 before lodging deep in muscle tissue between C7 and T1.Candace Owens later revealed that Dr. Trotter, an experienced hunter, actually suggested to both Kolvet and Erika Kirk during a threeway call that the round may have been frangible, a type designed to disintegrate on impact. This conflicted sharply with both the miracle stop and the catastrophic damage stories.The April 2026 ATF summary describes a 30caliber deformed bullet jacket fragment and four lead fragments, consistent with a conventional jacketed rifle bullet rather than a sintered frangible round. The fragments could not be conclusively matched to the alleged rifle, and further FBI testing is being requested while the defense is denied observation.These contradictions, along with reports of temporary restricted access to the body and seized hospital footage, continue to raise questions about the bullet evidence in Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
