If Tyler Robinson is the rooftop gunman prosecutors say fled the scene, disappeared into the woods and changed his clothing during the escape, then one question demands a serious answer: how does a reported eyewitness encounter occurring after that supposed clothing change describe a fleeing individual who was still wearing an all-black, tactical-style outfit with his face concealed? Either the timeline is wrong, the clothing-change theory is incomplete, the eyewitness encountered someone else or investigators have an explanation the public has not yet heard.
Then there is the hair.
According to the eyewitness description, the fleeing man had long, greasy black hair. That is not a trivial detail. Hair length, color and appearance can become significant identification evidence when investigators are reconstructing the movements of a masked suspect. If that description is accurate, investigators should explain precisely how it corresponds to Tyler Robinson’s appearance at the relevant time. Was the witness mistaken? Was the hair part of a disguise? Was another person moving through the escape route? Or has the sequence of events been misunderstood from the beginning?
These questions do not automatically prove Tyler Robinson innocent. Nor does an apparent inconsistency establish that another person committed the crime. But when the government is constructing a prosecution around identification, movements, clothing, physical evidence and a precise escape timeline, contradictions matter.
In my latest investigation, I retrace the reported escape route step by step. I examine where the black-clad fugitive was allegedly seen, when the clothing change supposedly occurred and what eyewitness descriptions actually tell us about the person fleeing the scene.
Forget assumptions. Follow the chronology. Follow the clothing. Follow the physical description.
Watch the full investigation and decide for yourself: does this eyewitness encounter fit the official theory, or does it raise a question investigators still need to answer?
Does this change everything?
