Emily Shy is a single mom with a 3-year-old daughter while also going to college. She is part of the Helping Hands For Single Moms non-profit. Her 2002 Blazer needed a lot of work and NARPRO (Neighborhood Auto Repair Associates) stepped up to help get it fixed. Turns out it was $6500 worth of work...and they did it all, at no cost to the mom....plus, because it is a time of year when everyone is watching their wallet, we also stepped in and bought her some groceries and a few fun things for her daughter.
