Larry Naman went into detail about what happened the day he shot Wilcox outside an auditorium where the five-member governing board had just met in 1997.
Naman said the day of the shooting he was angry over her support of a baseball stadium tax for Bank One Ballpark, which is now known as Chase Field. During Wednesday’s meeting Naman said he wanted the hospitality tax included in the $230 million proposal to go to the voters.
