The New Zealand Team shared this footage showing a bed bending as Kirkham sat down on it. Brake, who recorded the video, said, “tell me you’re in the Olympic village without telling me you’re in the Olympic village”.
Other Olympic athletes took to social media to debunk the claim, sharing videos of themselves jumping on the beds without causing damage.
