Police in Philadelphia say they have the recovered the body of a small child from the Delaware River. Authorities said they "strongly believe" the body of the girl is 2-year-old Mattie Shiels, who went missing a week ago after being swept away by flood waters in Bucks County, PA.
Police said the body was found 32 miles away from where Mattie went missing.
"Based on physical description of the child and the clothing found on the child, we strongly believe that 2-year-old Mattie Shield has been found," officials said in a press conference.
Now, search efforts will focus on finding her 9-month-old brother Conrad.
"Tomorrow we will continue to plan effort to search for Conrad, we will reunite him with his family and sister," officials added.
