Gov. DeSantis was speaking at an event at Culhane's Irish Pub in Jacksonville when someone in the crowd brought up the shooting saying that the governor's polices resulted in the crime.
The shooting is believed to be a racially-motivated attack in which the alleged shooter targeted Black people at a Dollar General store located in a predominantly African-American neighborhood.
