Dr. Nir Hoftman, a professor of Anesthesiology at UCLA described being attacked by Gaza war protesters on the school's campus. He spoke with LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow to share his story, saying "the worst comes out of people... thugs show up."

More than 200 protesters were arrested on the UCLA campus earlier this week during violent clashes with law enforcement and a standoff that lasted nine hours.

The Gaza war protests have taken over college campuses nationwide over the last several weeks with more than 2,000 arrests reported, including 56 in New York City on Friday morning at NYU and The New School.
