5:16Now PlayingChad Daybell trial: An Idaho jury found Chad Daybell guilty in the deaths of two kids and his ex-wife. The judge is now considering the death penalty.
Background: The case began in 2019 after family members told police they had not seen or talked to his second wife's children. Authorities accused Daybell and Lori Vallow (Chad's second wife) of failing to cooperate with the investigation.
The duo refused to help with the disappearances and deaths of 7-year-old J.J. Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan.
The children's remains were found in June of 2020 on Daybell's property in Fremont County, Idaho.
Prosecutors say Vallow and Daybell desired 'power and money,' which led to the triple-murder.
