Russia has been working to get back Vadim Krasikov, who was convicted in Germany in 2021. Krasikov was convicted of killing a former Chechen rebel in Berlin.
Ukraine-Russia war latest: Paul Whelan was detained in 2018 after traveling to Russia for a wedding. Officials in Russia say Whelan was convicted of charges he claimed were false.
