18:22Now PlayingThe Houthi rebels have released video showing an explosion and fire after the Yemen-based terror group attacked a Greek-flagged oil tanker in the Red Sea this week. The crew of the oil tanker, Sounion abandoned it on Thursday, though much of what happened remains unclear.
Tim Lenderking, the US Special Envoy for Yemen said this is “another imminent environmental and navigational threat from the Houthis reckless attacks on a commercial ship in the Red Sea. Lenderking added that the Sounion was carrying one-million barrels of oil and was on fire and adrift. The Houthi rebels have said their attacks on the Red Sea stem from the war in Gaza as they call for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Ceasefire and hostage release talks resume between the two sides on Sunday in Cairo. The White House has expressed that the talks are progressing in a positive direction. LiveNOW from FOX host Josh Breslow spoke to Mark Chandler, political science professor at Coastal Carolina University on the latest.
