The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has promised to respond in a “big way” to Thursday’s Hezbollah terror attacks that killed at least 7 people in northern Israel. During a 24-hour period, the terrorist group launched nearly 100 rockets at Israel, some of which landed in open fields.
The IDF posted on social media that “Hezbollah rockets killed 7 innocent civilians.” adding “we will not let Hezbollah’s deadly attacks go unanswered.”
The Israeli military has been calling on civilians in Lebanon who are near buildings used by Hezbollah to evacuate “immediately.”
Israeli intelligence also appears to suggest that Iran is preparing to attack Israel from Iraqi territory, Axios reports via several Israeli sources, adding that the attack could come ahead of the US Election Day on Nov. 5.
