as posted by the channelThe search continues for 43 monkeys bred for medical research that escaped from a compound in Yemassee, South Carolina, a small town about an hour outside of Savannah, Georgia.
Yamassee police said the monkeys broke out from the Alpha Genesis facility on Wednesday, as videos circulating on social media showed them nearby.
The monkeys are all female and about the size of a cat, weighing approximately seven pounds. They are bred to sell to medical and other researchers.
Police said the primates were seen exploring the outer fence of the compound, cooing at the monkeys still inside.
