Crowdfunding pages raised big money for Mangione's defense and potential bond. Videos popped up on social media platforms with people showing their love for the suspected killer. Some even got tattoos of Mangione's face with the words "deny, defend, depose," a phrase now connected to the murder of Thompson in Midtown Manhattan on Dec. 4.
