as posted by the channelAsap Rocky, long time partner to Rihanna, who he has two young sons with, is in court today for the beginning of his gun charges trial. His trial is in the District Superior Court of Los Angeles in Southern California.
A$AP Rocky turned down a final plea offer of 180 days in jail, risking a guilty verdict and years in prison.
Los Angeles County prosecutors would also recommended a seven-year suspended sentence, three years of probation and the six-month jail term.
Rocky, legally Rakim Mayers, declined any offers and chose to go to trial.
He is accused of firing a gun at a former friend near a hotel in Hollywood in 2021, and could be sentenced to 24 years.
Rocky’s attorney is Joe Tacopina.
