YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services is being sued for child abuse, attorney Brian Claypool announced. The $75 million lawsuit alleges county-appointed monitors had been accused of abusing their own children while working for the county, and also allowed abuse to take place while supervising family visits.
In one case, a young boy died from a fentanyl overdose while an approved monitor supervised his time in the home, Claypool told reporters during a news conference. He alleged that the county was aware the same monitor, Secret Daniel, had a criminal record while employed and was accused of abusing her own three daughters.
"They weren't doing their job, and these kids have suffered immensely because of that," Claypool said of the Los Angeles County DCFS.
