5:29Now PlayingFor some Florida State University (FSU) students, the deadly rampage this week on the school’s campus is a reminder of another tragedy they lived through. A number of the people who attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida went on to attend FSU.
On February 14th of 2018, a gunman opened fire inside the Parkland school killing 17 people, including Alyssa Alhadeff. Her brother, Robbie Alhadeff is now a student at FSU and had just left campus when investigators say a 20-year-old student went in and out of buildings Thursday, firing a gun, killing two people and wounding six others, before being shot by officers. That suspect was identified as Phoenix Ikner, the stepson of a Leon County, Florida sheriff’s deputy.
Robbie Alhadeff spoke with LiveNOW from FOX’s Josh Breslow about both mass shootings and what he wants to see happen.
