19:56Now PlayingSecretary of Defense Pete Hegseth shared details of a March military airstrike against the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen in another Signal message chat that included his wife and brother, according to a report first reported by The New York Times.
Four people with knowledge of the second chat told the NYT that Hegseth's wife, brother and his personal lawyer were included in the chat.
Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell called the report a "another old story--back from the dead" and suggested recently-fired Pentagon staffers were "disgruntled former employees" with grievances and were the sources for the report.
Hegseth also blasted the media during the White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday, calling reporters and news outlets "hoaxters."
The White House also suggested former employees were spreading false claims.
National security analyst Hal Kemper joins LiveNOW's Andrew Craft to discuss the fallout from this latest report.
