YouTube Description
as posted by the channelCassie Ventura’s testimony finished up on Friday after a quick re-direct and re-cross from the prosecution and the defense during the Sean "Diddy" Combs federal trial. The R&B singer testified about Diddy's alleged physical abuse including her experience with "freak offs" during direct examination on both May 13 and May 14. LiveNOW's Christina Evans is talking to TMZ's Michael Babcock as the trial wraps up for the week.
Week two of testimonies will start on Monday after Cassie spent the majority of Friday on the stand being cross-examined by Diddy's defense lawyer, Anna Estevao. Prosecutors previously expressed concern over the length of the defense’s cross-examination of Cassie.
Ventura, known professionally as Cassie, 38, has said she attempted to break free from Diddy's contacts in the music industry. This followed the end of their decade-long relationship. Cassie confirmed under oath that she was given contacts in the industry and time in the studio when she was with Combs. This also included a recorded song with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.
