20:28Now PlayingTensions are escalating in the Middle East as Israel continues its efforts to neutralize Iran's nuclear capabilities. A primary objective for the Israeli military is taking out the Fordow nuclear facility, Iran's most heavily fortified site, located two hours from Tehran. So far the site has remained untouched. LiveNOW’s Andrew Craft is speaking with retired Marine Corp Intelligence Officer and National Security Analyst Hal Kempfer.
The Foundation for Defense of Democracies states that Fordow’s facility is between 60 and 90 meters (196 to 295 feet) below ground. The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi told The Financial Times that the facility reaches 800 meters underground.
Some members of Congress have also expressed their support for using the bombs. This includes Senator Pete Ricketts (R-Neb.) who told Fox News on Tuesday that President Trump would "absolutely" have his support to use the B-2 bomber to eliminate the Fordow facility if negotiations failed.
