1:12:20Now PlayingPresident Trump met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at one of Trump's golf courses in Scotland on Monday. Trump and Starmer discussed a variety of topics include the Ukraine-Russia war, the latest with Israel and Hamas, as well the pardoning of Ghislaine Maxwell.
Trump also said Monday he is reducing the 50-day deadline he had given to Russian President Vladimir Putin to 10 to 12 days to agree to a peace deal with Ukraine.
"I'm going to make a new deadline of about ten or twelve days from today... there's no reason in waiting... I want to be generous but we just don't see any progress being made," said Trump.
Trump also commented on Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted sex offender and Jeffrey Epstein's ex-girlfriend.
"Well, I’m allowed to give her a pardon, but nobody’s approached me with it,” said Trump said during the bilateral meeting.
President Trump also vowed to send more aid to Gaza over the weekend.
“We’re going to set up food centers, and we’re going to do it in conjunction with some very good people, and we’re going to supply funds, and we just took in trillions of dollars, we got a lot of money, and we’re going to spend a little money on some food, and other nations are joining us,” Trump said Monday when asked about Gaza. “So, we’re going to set up food centers, and where the people can walk in and no boundaries, we’re not going to have fences.”
