9:10Now PlayingPolice said several people are dead in a crash involving a tour bus headed to New York City on the New York Thruway on Friday.
The cause of the crash has not been determined yet. It is also currently unclear how many people were killed.
New York State Police said there were also entrapments and injuries, according to WGRX in Buffalo. The Town of Pembroke told Fox News that firefighters reported up to 52 patients.
Police also said the bus was returning to New York City after a trip to Niagara Falls.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul said in a post on X that she has been briefed on the situation.
