11:11Now PlayingFormer U.S. Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller is now saying that the Biden administration wanted to publicly express its disapproval of how Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was handling ceasefire and hostage negotiations amid the war with Hamas.
During an interview with Israeli media, Miller said "There were times that we very much wanted to go public and make clear that we thought the prime minister was being completely intransigent and making it tougher to get a deal."
This comes as Israeli forces continue to increase their ground operations and organizations warn of an increased risk of famine in Gaza.
