21:52Now PlayingWe are getting an update after the massive fire at a manufacturing plant in east Louisiana. Over 35 agencies were said to have responded at the time. We have also heard that an emergency closure was issued for portions of the Tangipahoa River following the Roseland explosion. Officials today provided more information on the ongoing investigation into the cause of the fire.
On Saturday evening, LSP announced that the fire was around 90 percent contained. Officials say 42 people have stayed at the emergency shelter at the Amite Community Center. Arrangements were made for people to continue having shelter until at through at least Sunday.
