Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appeared before a congressional committee on Thursday. Kennedy faced questions about planned budget cuts that critics say are damaging the nation’s ability to prevent disease. LiveNOW’s Mike Pache is getting the latest from Carmen Paun, who was in the room today. She is a Global Health reporter for Politico.

"I don’t think anybody knows that, because there was so much data chaos coming out of the CDC and there were so many perverse incentives," Kennedy said.

We also know that in May, Secretary Kennedy announced that COVID-19 vaccines would no longer be recommended for healthy children and pregnant women.
