President Trump said that if internal bloodshed continues in Gaza, someone will have no option but to intervene and eliminate them. Trump had previously downplayed violence in the territory, saying this week that Hamas had dealt with "a couple of gangs that were very bad." Hamas was recently captured on video publicly executing opponents. Here to explain what happens next for Trump as he looks to maintain his peace plan, is Dr. Alon Burstein from Tufts University.
"If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them," Trump wrote on social media. "Thank you for your attention to this matter!"
