YouTube Description
as posted by the channelPresident Trump said he'd be open to signing the discharge petition to release Epstein files, if Congress passes it.
"I'm all for it," Trump said in the Oval Office.
"Sure I would," he added when pressed by a reporter if he'd sign the discharge petition.
"Let the Senate look at it, let anybody look at it, but don't talk about it too much because honestly I don't want it taking away from us. It's really a Democrat problem," Trump said.
Trump made the remark while meeting with the White House FIFA World Cup 2026 Task Force at the White House.
"Here's what I want: We have nothing to do with Epstein, the Democrats do. All of his friends were Democrats. You look at this Reid Hoffman, you look at Larry Summers, Bill Clinton, they went to his island all the time, and many others, they're all Democrats," Trump told reporters. "All I want is for people to recognize the great job that I've done on pricing, on affordability, because we brought prices way down but they're going way lower, on energy, on ending eight wars, and another one coming, I think pretty soon. We've done a great job. And I hate to see that deflect from the great job we've done."
