A bill which clears the way to begin releasing the documents known as the "Epstein files" was passed in the US House on Tuesday, with the bill now headed to the Senate.

The US House of Representatives is set to vote on the release of the Epstein files, a bill that would need Senate and presidential approval before becoming law. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Thomas Massie, Lauren Boebert, Nancy Mace and other Republicans have worked to have the files released in spite of President Trump reportedly telling them to not release the files. Speaker Mike Johnson is expected to potentially bring the issue to vote today in the House session for debate and vote.

Jeffrey Epstein is the convicted felon criminals sex offender who committed suicide under questionable circumstances in 2019. He is connected to Ghislaine Maxwell who is currently in prison for related crimes.
