The video showed six Democratic lawmakers who served in either the military or intelligence community reminding their still-serving counterparts that they are obligated to refuse illegal orders.
"This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP??? – HE ALSO SAID – SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!" Trump responded in a social media post.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt later said Trump does not want to see members of Congress executed.
