7:14Now PlayingWe are getting more information tonight after the National Weather Service (NWS) released their damage survey following Monday's severe weather in the Houston area. According to the report, a tornado was seen that was rated at an EF1 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale with estimated peak winds of 105 miles per hour. LiveNOW’s Shawna Khalafi is learning more on how Houston is recovering this week with Randy Wallace from FOX 26.
The tornado touched down around 1:23 p.m. Monday afternoon about seven miles west-northwest of Jersey Village and ended about five minutes later near the same location.
