43:36Now PlayingPresident Donald Trump spoke to members of the military during a teleconference on Thanksgiving. At the start of the remarks Trump announced that one of the National Guard troops who was shot in Washington D.C. the day before Thanksgiving, had died.
Trump said that he had just learned that Specialist Sarah Beckstrom had died, while Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe was "fighting for his life." The president called Beckstrom an "incredible person, outstanding in every single way." Trump announced, "She's no longer with us. She's looking down at us right now. Her parents are with her."
This comes as President Trump is spending time this week at Mar-a-Lago, his Florida estate, with the First Lady. Trump and Melania participated in the annual turkey pardoning at the White House this week. President Trump gave two turkeys named Waddle and Gobble a "full and unconditional pardon" during the event.
