Ukraine's energy ministry attributed the power losses to missile and drone strikes on energy infrastructure around the city and several other regions. Local authorities told the BBC that 36 missiles and nearly 600 drones were launched on targets across Ukraine overnight. Three were killed and dozens were injured. Ukrainian President released a statement on social media condemning the strikes. These attacks come as the Trump administration continues to lead the efforts to reach a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine.
