This comes after a judge previously dismissed the mortgage fraud prosecution which was initially encouraged by President Donald Trump. Reports indicate that prosecutors went back to a grand jury in Virginia after a judge's ruling halting the prosecution of James and FBI Director James Comey. The judge made the initial ruling on the grounds that the U.S. attorney who presented the cases was illegally appointed.
