Reiner was charged with two counts of murder. Nick faces special circumstances allegation for using a knife. Reiner faces death or life in prison without the possibility of parole for his parents' murders. The bodies of Michele and Rob were found at their Brentwood, California house on December 14th.
LA District Attorney Nathan Hochman said in a statement: "we owe it to their memory to pursue justice and accountability for the lives that were taken."
