as posted by the channelBrett Smiley, the mayor of Providence, Rhode Island has written a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel, asking that the $50,000 reward in the Brown University shooting go to "John," a homeless, former Brown University who confronted the campus shooter and helped to identify him.
Investigators say Claudio Neves Valente opened fire on the Brown University campus earlier this month, killing two students and wounding nine others, then traveled to Brookline, Massachusetts outside of Boston and fatally shot MIT professor Nuno Loureiro. Neves Valente then traveled to a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire, where investigators say he took his own life.
