Sources told our partners at FOX 9 the shooting happened in the 600 block of 24th Avenue North in Minneapolis. The call was reported at about 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
FOX News reporter Bill Melugin, citing law enforcement sources, says ICE was involved in the shooting. He is told ICE was making contact with a person who then allegedly assaulted an officer before being shot. Melguin says the person who was shot is stable and are now in custody.

Iran signaled Wednesday that it is preparing to swiftly try and execute anti-government protesters, defying an earlier warning from President Donald Trump as it intensifies its crackdown on nationwide demonstrations. President Trump took to social media on Tuesday, urging Iranians to keep protesting and that help from the United States is on the way.
We are hearing more from U.S. Senators after their meeting with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen and Greenland Foreign Minister Vivian Motzfeldt along with Denmark’s Ambassador Jesper Moller Sorensen. Sen. Angus King, an independent U.S. Senator from Maine, hosted the meeting as part of the Arctic Caucus in the U.S. Congress. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, a Republican from Alaska, also answered questions from the press after the meeting.
Minnesota lawmakers and agricultural leaders from across Minnesota held a press conference at the Minnesota State Capitol Building regarding the recent ICE operations in the state. Federal immigration agents continue their operation in Minnesota on Wednesday, exactly a week after an ICE officer fatally shot Renee Nicole Good in her vehicle in Minneapolis.
