Iranian state television and the state-run IRNA news agency said the 86-year-old had died, without elaborating on a cause. We are currently monitoring reactions from around the globe to the news that the United States and Israel launched strikes against Iran earlier today. This news has even caused a number of law enforcement agencies around the United States to say that they are being extra vigilant as the situation within Iran continues to develop.
